24th October: International Portuguese Ceramics and Glass Society Symposium. SACMI takes part to illustrate the advantages of automation with numerous technical solutions and plant systems developed for its customers around the globe.
SACMI is taking a leading role at the symposium on “Automation and Robotics in the Ceramics Industry” being held in Aveiro (Portugal) on 24th October, organized by the Sociedade Portuguesa de Cerâmica e Vidro (SPCV) – the Portuguese Ceramics and Glass Society.
«How to improve quality, efficiency & productivity through plant automation» is the subject of SACMI’s speech to be given by Gianluca Radice, Area Sales Manager, Sanitaryware & Tableware BU.
The main aim of the presentation is to show the tangible benefits of automation in terms of product quality, process efficiency and improvement of working conditions. This will be illustrated by looking at the numerous technical and plant system solutions which SACMI has created and put into operation throughout the world in recent years.
Around fifty companies have been invited to this event, including the lead players in local industry in the various fields: tableware, sanitaryware, traditional and technical ceramics, heavy clay. For SACMI it is an important occasion to demonstrate its value as an all-round partner for the sector, with solutions which have been specially conceived to meet customer requirements, and validated on site, to achieve concrete and quantifiable advantages.
