SACMI Verona grows and inaugurates its new headquarters in San Pietro di Morubio

New, bigger, more practical facilities. Convenient connections to infrastructure. And the intention to continue the 30-year tradition of success that has made the company a SACMI Group flagship and a market benchmark. Fully operational since January, the new headquarters merges all the Group's highly specialized resources for the production of ceramic sanitaryware casting machines

SACMI Verona has relocated: fully operational since January, the new 4,000 m2 plant in San Pietro di Morubio is wholly dedicated to the manufacture and assembly of ceramic sanitaryware casting machines.

With bigger, more practical premises, 50 employees and a valuable team of external partners, this new plant concentrates the SACMI Group's impressive array of specialization and experience with these machines: an area in which SACMI Verona is the market leader and an exporter to the entire world.

Starting 30 years ago with the takeover of Netzsch Italiana, SACMI has steadily consolidated its Verona ‘branch’, building a unique skills set within the sanitaryware casting industry. Machines produced by SACMI Verona are now used by the industry’s leading global players. Tradition, expertise and experience make this a key SACMI Group company that sets the market standard.

It’s not just the highly specialized workforce that makes the difference: it’s also an ability to build partnerships with customers, a long-term vision and an excellent after-sales service supported by the SACMI Global Network.

Founded in Imola in 1919, the SACMI ‘family’ now has nearly 5,000 employees and 70 production, distribution and service companies in 25 countries worldwide. In 2024, the Group generated revenues of over €1.7 billion, 85% of which came from exports. While its outlook is global, its technological and manufacturing heart remains in Italy and it retains close ties with local communities.
The new SACMI Verona will continue to focus on sanitaryware casting by providing highly automated machines, robotic systems and advanced control software, suitable for obtaining Industry 4.0 and 5.0 certification.

Thanks to this new, more practical facility, which lies close to the regional capital of Verona, the Group will also have the opportunity to concentrate new personnel/supplier recruitment in this area (e.g. to hire technical staff involved in machine design, assembly and testing).

From this perspective, two events have already been held in local schools: Career Day at ITIS Marconi and the ‘Dreams and Future’ event at the Salesiani San Zeno Institute in Verona. “SACMI has always sought to create shared value in the area through innovative training and daily collaboration with schools and local institutions,” points out the President of SACMI, Paolo Mongardi.

To highlight its strong ties with the local area, on 10th October the SACMI team presented the company to the mayor of San Pietro di Morubio, Corrado Vincenzi. Moreover, new partnerships with local suppliers have already been formed, and recruitment of local personnel is in progress to support the Group's production expansion plans in this crucial strategic sector.
