The AGM of AIM confirms the participation of SACMI as a member of the Governing Council

An alliance that started back in 2019 continues. This is a fundamental partnership for SACMI that focuses on scientific-technological training and dissemination on the research for new eco-friendly materials for sustainable rigid packaging.

Bologna, 26 April 2022 – The Annual General Meeting of AIM (Italian Association of Macromolecule Science and Technology) elects its governing council. Once again SACMI is in the limelight with the re-election of Fiorenzo Parrinello (Lab e R&D Director) as a member of the governing council.
Research on new materials, along with the development of increasingly sustainable and high-performing processes thanks to the use of new state-of-the-art technologies, are key assets to SACMI and the technology it provides in all aspects of the Rigid Packaging sector. An activity that is closely tied to the training of new talents and skills that are strategic for its core business and perfectly in line with the corporate mission, continuous innovation based on social and environmental sustainability.
This led to the participation in AIM, founded in 1975 - and operational since 1983 - and its front-running position in promoting scientific training and dissemination events. The association counts around 700 members from the academic world (Universities, National Research Institute etc.) and also the business world, making it a key meeting point for exchanges on academic research and applied industrial research.
The meeting which was held on 26th April to elect the council was hosted by the Navile Department of the University of Bologna in via della Beverata. Alongside Fiorenzo Parrinello representing SACMI, the other members elected or re-elected are Michele Laus, Sabrina Carola Carroccio. Martina Salzano de Luna, Chiara Gualandi, Silvia Vicini, Daniele Caretti, Paolo Lomellini.
