SACMI @ Chinaplas 2026

SACMI will soon be attending Chinaplas 2026, the area’s leading international fair dedicated to technologies for the plastics and rubber industries, to be held from 21 to 24 April 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Hongqiao, Shanghai.
Here, SACMI will be showcasing a comprehensive technological cap manufacturing range focused on reducing virgin resin consumption, achieving tethered standards and raising production efficiency, in line with the latest developments on the global beverage market and the specificities of local demand.

One of the key trends is an ever-sharper focus on caps that combine weight reduction, high performance and high speed.
This is where the AB30W1 30/25 cap comes in: designed to deliver an optimal balance of performance, output rates and weight reduction, this solution helps improve the overall competitiveness of the line.
Remaining in the water segment, SACMI also offers the S29W28 in the 29/25 format, a ‘high profile’ cap that meets specific product positioning and ergonomic requirements while retaining excellent reliability and quality.

The market has also responded very positively to the A38CAF54 38 mm for two-piece caps, demonstrating SACMI's ability to develop tailor-made solutions that build on established architectures and introduce targeted customization of tamper band, thread and sealing systems. This approach optimizes performance and capping according to the specific applications required.
On the sustainability front, China is increasingly interested in tethered caps, a product for which SACMI has the widest range on the market - including the new advanced THCO patterns – and unrivalled expertise to accompany the transition effectively and profitably.

SFM15M slitter-folder: unmatched productivity and flexibility

At Chinaplas 2026, SACMI will be exhibiting the SFM15M. This next-gen slitter-folder is designed to meet the needs of high-productivity lines and maximizes flexibility when managing the new tethered standards. Equipped with 15 spindles and able to deliver output rates as high as 3,000 caps per minute, the SFM15M aligns smoothly with the performance of the latest generation of SACMI presses.
The hallmarks of the machine are low maintenance costs, long-term reliability and native integration of quality and process control systems (including the CVS154 vision system, Classy AI classification and SMART PACK™ functions). These features ensure consistent product quality, improve machine and process management and let manufacturers respond quickly to market demand.

CCM 48SD: unequaled competitiveness in the production of one-piece caps

At Chinaplas, SACMI - the world’s leading provider of one-piece cap molding technologies - will be displaying the CCM 48SD. A compression molding machine able to produce up to 2,000 caps per minute with just 48 molds and a cycle time as short as 1.44 seconds, the CCM 48SD is one of the most competitive solutions for the production of one-piece caps for still water, CSD, hot filling and cold aseptic filling.

The machine at the fair will feature a COOL+® mold, suitable for AB26CSDT5 caps. Like all SACMI CCM presses, this solution guarantees the lowest operating costs on the market. It does this by, for example, using inverter-controlled hydraulic pressure self-regulation, lowering cycle times, raising management flexibility and ensuring total process repeatability. The new mold design also allows for even faster format changeovers.
